Jerni is originally from the Bluffton area where she currently lives with her Golden Retriever, Boone. Her hobbies are everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and spending time with her friends and family. Jerni’s passion for real estate started when she was a little girl and her dream has been to get her license for many years.

Jerni brings not only her enthusiasm but her expansive knowledge of the lakes area. As a realtor, her first priority is to make her clients happy. She will listen to her client’s wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction, and she strives to ensure that the buying or selling process is fun, easy, and stress-free. Her clients can count on her any time of day when they have a question or a concern.

Born and raised in the Brainerd lakes area, Vanessa graduated from Pine River high school and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in business at St. Cloud State University. After graduating, Vanessa pursued a career in property management in Minneapolis. Following several years in the big city, this small town girl returned to her roots back in the Brainerd area to attain her license and become a Realtor. After a few years of serving the Brainerd area she met her husband, Tristan Huwe, and moved to the New York Mills area.

Vanessa established her reputation for always building relationships with clients whether they were buying or selling a home, land or commercial business. A real expert in the buying and selling process, she feels privileged to be a part of the community and help with all real estate needs.

When Vanessa is not assisting clients, you can find her at one of the many local meat raffles, helping on the family farm or spending time with her golden retrievers, Ruby and Rico.
